So far in Assignment 7 I have worked out who will be in my group. There is Todd me Ella and Treston. We decided to all work as a group as our interests in what we were to do for the TV drama seems to all be very similar, also we all get along and are good friends. We have done many mind maps and have already come to the conclusion on what we want our TV drama to be about.

We have decided to do our TV drama about a group of teenagers who now live in the future and are facing living in a world of people who have an infectious disease and have now got to have LOCKDOWN (lock down is also the title of our drama). Lock down is when everyone has to be home and in their house where they get locked in. The reason being is because the infectious people are nocturnal and come out at night. The main characters will be based on 5 teenagers who decide to voyage into an abandoned milk factory so they can do some drugs out of sight. However things turn for the worse and they end up being out after lock down. This is the basis of idea and the end will not be shown so that it will draw the audience in and make them be sitting on the edge of their seat wanting to watch more.

We have now finished our TV drama, it worked out well although it is not completely up to the standard we would like it to be yet. The length of it is not long enough and some of the scenes arer not up to the set ability standard. We have a few limitations that can easily be fixed with our TV drama and fixing these will at least bring us up to a merit. It took us a day to film and less than a week to edit. We involved a lot of different types of effects to our TV drama such as, pausing the film and then having the actors name shown then the name being said with a voice over. This gave a really good affect and could easily have been compared to ' My big fat diary'. We also used some fun music to add a funny sense to our TV drama. It also made the drama seem a lot more fun and energetic as we though using gloomy music wouldn't fit with the layout and way we filmed our drama.

During the filming process we did encounter a few problems and limitations, the main issue was the timing. The fact we had to do a lot of paperwork and the script e.t.c meant we didn't have as much time to film. The fact we spent a whole day filming and managed to actually take 1 day filming all our footage was amazing. However we was not aware of how little footage that was good we got, this has ended up in our TV Drama not being long enough meaning we only got a pass. We now have to find more time to film again and add to the Drama.

Another limitation was the amount of actors we had. Our original plan was to hold an audition for drama students and we would pick out the best ones and use them for our drama. Alternatively they will all having to do performance exams all week which meant we had to use plan B. This was to use our group members, we ended up using Todd as our main actor and had Tristan in it and also some random boy who we asked to pretend to be a zombie. The fact we hadn't had actors and made do with what we have got shows that we did use our resources well as the end result was actually really good.
